While efficient, these methods may not be ideal for preserving the natural profile of more delicate mushroom compounds. myBrainCo Organic Lion’s Mane is freeze-dried using low temperatures to gently remove moisture after extraction. This helps preserve the extract’s natural mushroom profile, including naturally occurring hericenones, before it is packed and third-party tested for quality and purity.

Hericenones are naturally occurring compounds found in the fruiting body of Lion’s Mane mushroom. myBrainCo Organic Lion’s Mane is produced using both water and alcohol extraction to capture a broader spectrum of mushroom compounds, including naturally occurring hericenones that may not be captured to the same extent through water-only extraction. Each batch is third-party tested for quality, purity, heavy metals, micro and mould, with testing used to confirm its hericenone content before release.
